Smokestacks reach high up into the sky, but not high enough to stop a thick smog regularly descending on the city thanks to Pyre, the city’s power plant. Even in the light of day, large parts of the city would be functionally blind without the constant supply of electricity being generated from this district.

Workers funnel into and out of the district from a gate between here and the Eastern Hab Blocks, which seem to be the power plants’ exclusive reservoir of human resources. Whilst the workers continue to file in and out of the plants, anyone responsible for the control and direction of power is completely absent however. For the most part it runs fairly smoothly, but it would be easy to take specific parts of it offline for short periods of time…
