The Spires

Special Ability: Seat of power Exhaust this card to force your opponent to roll two dice when advancing and three dice when charging until the end of the turn. The highest result in each case must be discarded.

The district of The Spires is unlike most other districts in Felgate for the simple and very noticeable distinction of being mostly clean. The majority of the district is on the top of a large artificial hill, making it a strong defensive position but also elevating it from the general smog and filth that hangs in the air at street level everywhere else.

The focal point of the district is the old palace. It was from here that you surmise that the planet used to be governed. It is clear that it has been long-disused way before the city was invaded. Whilst the palace is clean, there is no sign that anyone beyond mono-tasked servitors has been here in a long time.

On the path leading up to the palace, a row of 10 kneeling statues are placed on each side with a final statue standing astride an arch that you must pass under to get to the palace. Each of the 20 statues lining the path are clearly astartes.

The one standing over the arch has four arms.
